Meet Sean
As a real estate broker, attorney, marathoner, triathlete, and black belt, Sean Devine brings a calm determination to everything that he does. Upon first speaking with him it becomes clear: No one will work harder or smarter to help you achieve your goals. He listens carefully to understand your needs and thrives on developing creative strategies to surpass your expectations. Whether you're a seller, buyer, renter, or investor, he will help you navigate the real estate market successfully.
Sean's experience in the real estate industry and with complex negotiations dates back over a decade: for over 10 years as a broker, and 5 years prior to that as an attorney. His experience in real estate was fast-paced from the start, working on the sale of over $100 million in buildings throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn while a summer associate still in law school. As an attorney, he also helped high-net-worth clients through contentious divorces, negotiating complicated multi-million dollar settlements. After practicing law, Sean decided to switch to the business side of real estate to become a broker. He quickly thrived, served well by the problem-solving and negotiation skills he sharpened as an attorney. As a broker, Sean has successfully guided a wide variety of clients through transactions in nearly every neighborhood in Manhattan and the areas in Brooklyn and Queens closest to it. No deal is too complicated. A solution always exists!
A native New Yorker, Sean has lived in and explored the city for most of his life. He currently resides in Greenwich Village with his wife Nirali, has lived in Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Hell's Kitchen, and the Upper East Side, and grew up in Staten Island. He earned his bachelor's degree at Villanova University and his juris doctorate at Brooklyn Law School. He enjoys running, triathlons, weight training, CrossFit, yoga, basketball, reading, and experiencing all that this great city has to offer.
